Why you see a prompt

Visitors from the EU see a consent prompt on the first visit. The prompt asks before the site stores anything beyond what is strictly needed to display the page. Your answer is stored on your own device so the prompt does not show again. You can change the answer at any time as described below.

What is stored

The site uses browser localStorage, not HTTP cookies sent to a server. Two entries exist at most:

NameTypePurposeStrictly neededKept until
themeLocal storageRemembers your light or dark mode choiceYesYou clear site data or pick a new mode
cookie-consentLocal storageRemembers your answer to the consent prompt (accepted or rejected, plus date and version)YesYou clear site data or pick again

Neither entry holds your name, email, IP address or browsing history. Neither entry is sent to us or to any third party. Search queries stay in your browser and in the page address; they are not stored on our servers.

What is not used

If an optional service is ever added, it will stay off by default for visitors who rejected, and this table will be updated before the service goes live.

Accept or reject

Both choices only affect this browser on this device. A new browser or cleared site data brings the prompt back once.

How to change your choice

Pick one of these:

Browser makers document the steps under headings such as "Delete browsing data" or "Manage site data". The exact menu names differ by browser.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

The site runs no tracking of its own, so there is nothing extra to switch off. Rejected remains rejected regardless of these signals. If tracking tools are ever added, these signals will be read as a rejection by default.

Updates

If new storage or cookies are added, this page and the Privacy Policy will be updated first, the policy version in the stored consent record will change, and visitors will see the prompt again.
